Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join the team at First Horizon. Our ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a strong understanding of risk and credit analysis, as well as the ability to evaluate and analyze loan applications. The successful candidate will have an exceptional eye for detail and be able to think strategically and analytically. The ideal candidate will possess:• A Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field • At least two years of experience in a credit analysis role • Ability to assess credit worthiness of customers and prospective customers • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work • Working knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards If you’re passionate about finance and eager to join a dynamic team that values collaboration and creative problem solving, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Analyze creditworthiness of customers and prospective customers.
Assess financial information and analyze creditworthiness of loan applications.
Develop risk assessment models to determine appropriate credit limits.
Monitor and analyze customer accounts, credit trends, and market risk factors.
Review customer financial records and credit reports to assess creditworthiness.
Develop credit policies and procedures and ensure adherence to banking regulations and compliance standards.
Provide guidance and advice to team members on credit risk and risk management strategies.
Prepare and submit credit reports to the appropriate team members.
Maintain updated records of customer accounts and credit analysis.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate credit analysis.
