We are looking for a detailed-oriented and self-motivated Investment Analyst to join our team at First Horizon. The ideal candidate should have an in-depth understanding of the financial sector and a strong track record of success in portfolio analysis and investment strategies. The Investment Analyst will play an integral role in increasing the value of our strategic investments by providing data-driven insights and market intelligence.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field. In addition, the successful candidate should possess excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills, as well as experience with financial software like Bloomberg and FactSet. Responsibilities:

Research and analyze investment opportunities and financial markets, including stocks, bonds, derivatives, and other types of investments
Develop data-driven insights and market intelligence to maximize returns on investments
Conduct financial modeling and portfolio analysis to assess risk and make informed investment decisions
Monitor and evaluate existing investments to identify potential opportunities for improvement
Prepare and present detailed reports on investment decisions and performance
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather and provide financial information
Keep abreast of changing regulations, industry trends, and economic trends in the financial sector
Utilize financial software like Bloomberg and FactSet to analyze data and identify trends
Prepare financial forecasts and projections for investment decisions
Collaborate with other departments to assess and monitor the financial performance of the company
