- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to drive sales and profitability
- Oversee the visual presentation and organization of products in the store to ensure a visually appealing and easy shopping experience for customers
- Analyze sales data and trends to make informed decisions on product assortment and placement
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels through effective ordering and replenishment processes
- Train and mentor store associates on merchandising standards and techniques
- Collaborate with the buying team to identify new and trending products to bring into the store
- Conduct regular store walks to ensure compliance with merchandising standards and make necessary adjustments
- Monitor and communicate any inventory or merchandising issues to upper management
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues that may arise
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor strategies to inform merchandising decisions
- Maintain a clean and organized backroom and stockroom area
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Retail Merchandising Or Buying.
Strong Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Sales Data And Make Strategic Decisions.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills To Effectively Work With Vendors And Cross-Functional Teams.
Knowledge Of Current Retail Trends And Ability To Identify And Capitalize On Market Opportunities.
