Look no further, because Five Below is seeking a talented Photo Stylist & Studio Assistant to join our team! As our Photo Stylist & Studio Assistant, you will have the exciting opportunity to work with our in-house photography team to create engaging and eye-catching images for our brand. We are searching for someone who is organized, energetic, and has a keen eye for detail. If this sounds like you, read on to learn more about the qualifications and responsibilities for this role.

  1. Collaborate with the in-house photography team to create creative and visually appealing images for the brand.
  2. Utilize your passion for photography and styling to develop unique and engaging concepts for photoshoots.
  3. Assist in the planning and execution of photoshoots, including setting up and organizing props, outfits, and backgrounds.
  4. Ensure all products and props are properly styled and displayed for photoshoots.
  5. Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary products and materials for photoshoots.
  6. Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail during photoshoots to ensure all shots are captured accurately and efficiently.
  7. Edit and retouch photos as needed to meet brand standards.
  8. Collaborate with the marketing and social media teams to ensure photos align with the brand's overall aesthetic and messaging.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve the quality of photoshoots.
  10. Assist with studio maintenance, including keeping equipment and props clean and organized.
  11. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, invoicing, and maintaining inventory.
  12. Ensure all photoshoots are completed on time and within budget.
  13. Act as a brand ambassador by embodying the Five Below brand and values.
  14. Communicate effectively with team members and provide support as needed.
  15. Flexibility to assist with additional tasks and projects as assigned by the photography manager.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Knowledge Of Photography Techniques And Equipment: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Photography Principles And Be Familiar With Various Types Of Cameras, Lighting Equipment, And Editing Software.

  • Creativity And Attention To Detail: A Successful Photo Stylist And Studio Assistant Should Have A Keen Eye For Aesthetics And Be Able To Come Up With Creative And Visually Appealing Concepts For Photo Shoots. Attention To Detail Is Also Essential To Ensure That Photos Are Of The Highest Quality.

  • Experience In Styling And Organizing Photo Shoots: Previous Experience In Styling And Organizing Photo Shoots Is Highly Desirable. This Includes Selecting And Coordinating Props, Backdrops, And Models, As Well As Setting Up And Arranging The Studio Space.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: The Role Of A Photo Stylist And Studio Assistant Requires Collaboration With Other Team Members, Such As Photographers, Graphic Designers, And Marketing Professionals. Therefore, Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Organizational And Time Management Abilities: The Photo Stylist And Studio Assistant Will Be Responsible For Managing Multiple Tasks And Deadlines, So Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills Are Crucial. The Candidate Should Be Able To Prioritize Tasks, Stay Organized, And Meet Tight Deadlines While Maintaining High-Quality Work.
