Excellent Communication Skills: A Sales Associate Must Possess Strong Communication Skills In Order To Effectively Interact With Customers And Promote Products.
Customer Service Experience: Prior Experience In Customer Service, Whether In A Retail Setting Or Otherwise, Is Highly Desirable For A Sales Associate Position.
Product Knowledge: A Successful Sales Associate Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Products Being Sold In Order To Answer Customer Questions And Make Recommendations.
Goal-Oriented: Sales Associates Are Often Responsible For Meeting Sales Targets And Should Be Driven And Motivated To Achieve Their Goals.
