  1. Provide exceptional customer service to all customers visiting the store.
  2. Assist the store manager in daily operations and management of the store.
  3. Train and motivate employees to meet and exceed sales goals and customer service expectations.
  4. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and prevent shrinkage.
  5. Collaborate with the store manager to create and implement effective sales strategies.
  6. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
  8. Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback to improve performance.
  9. Stay up-to-date with the latest sneaker trends and product knowledge to effectively assist customers.
  10. Assist with merchandising and restocking products as needed.
  11. Assist with scheduling employees and managing payroll.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  13. Collaborate with the store manager to create and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  14. Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
  15. Assist in conducting interviews and hiring new employees.
  16. Take on additional responsibilities as needed and directed by the store manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Prior Retail Or Customer Service Experience: A Successful Assistant Manager At Foot Locker Should Have Previous Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In The Retail Or Customer Service Industry. This Will Ensure They Have The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Handle The Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment Of A Foot Locker Store.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As The Assistant Manager, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Supervising And Motivating A Team Of Sales Associates. Therefore, They Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills Such As Communication, Problem-Solving, And Decision-Making Abilities.

  • Knowledge Of Athletic Footwear And Apparel: Foot Locker Specializes In Athletic Footwear And Apparel, So A Basic Understanding Of The Products And Brands They Carry Is Essential For An Assistant Manager. This Includes Knowledge Of Current Trends, Features, And Benefits Of Different Products, As Well As The Ability To Make Product Recommendations To Customers.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Customer Service Is A Top Priority At Foot Locker, And The Assistant Manager Should Be Able To Deliver Exceptional Service To Every Customer. This Includes Being Able To Handle Difficult Situations, Resolving Customer Complaints, And Creating A Positive Shopping Experience For All Customers.

  • Organizational And Multitasking Abilities: A Foot Locker Store Can Get Busy, And The Assistant Manager Should Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks At Once While Maintaining A High Level Of Organization.
