Attention all runners! Are you passionate about creating a sense of community through the joys of running? Do you have a natural talent for inspiring and motivating others to reach their fitness goals? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Foot Locker as the Manager of Run Club Programming and Activation. As the leader of our run club, you will be responsible for developing and executing engaging and inclusive running programs, while also fostering a supportive and energetic environment for our members. We are looking for a dynamic individual with a strong background in running and event planning, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.   • Develop and implement engaging and inclusive running programs for the Foot Locker run club community
  • Create a welcoming and supportive environment for all members of the run club
  • Lead and coordinate all aspects of run club events, including planning, marketing, and logistics
  • Recruit and manage a team of volunteer run club leaders to assist with programming and events
  • Act as a role model and mentor for run club members, providing motivation, support, and guidance in their fitness journey
  • Maintain strong relationships with local running organizations and partners to enhance the run club experience
  • Regularly communicate with run club members to provide updates and gather feedback on programming
  • Monitor and track run club attendance and participation, making adjustments as needed to ensure engagement and retention
  • Collaborate with other departments within Foot Locker to promote and integrate the run club into overall company initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in running and event planning to continually improve the run club experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Running And/Or Coaching At Various Levels, Including Familiarity With Training Programs, Events, And Equipment.

  • Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Plan, Execute, And Evaluate Multiple Running Programs And Events Simultaneously.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Team Members, Vendors, And Community Partners.

  • Demonstrated Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team, Including Setting Goals, Delegating Tasks, And Providing Feedback And Support.

  • Passion For The Running And Fitness Industry, With A Strong Understanding Of Current Trends And The Ability To Continuously Identify And Implement Innovative Programming And Activation Ideas To Engage And Grow The Running Community.
