- Receive and process incoming shipments of footwear and apparel products.
- Inspect and verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Organize and stock products in designated areas within the store.
- Ensure all products are properly labeled and priced.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in conducting inventory counts.
- Communicate any inventory discrepancies or issues to the appropriate team members.
- Keep the stock room clean and organized at all times.
- Assist in the transfer of products between stores as needed.
- Collaborate with sales associates to restock products on the sales floor.
- Assist with setting up displays and promotional materials.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and store products.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while handling products.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with customers and team members.
- Be knowledgeable about the products and able to assist customers with inquiries.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Experience With Inventory Management: A Material Handler At Foot Locker Should Have Experience With Managing And Organizing Inventory, Including Receiving, Storing, And Distributing Products.
Knowledge Of Footwear And Apparel: A Strong Understanding Of Different Types Of Footwear And Apparel Is Essential For A Material Handler At Foot Locker. This Includes Knowing How To Properly Handle And Care For These Products.
Physical Fitness And Stamina: This Position May Require Heavy Lifting And Constant Movement, So Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.
