Job Description

Look no further, as Foot Locker is seeking a dynamic Sales Lead to join our team! As the Sales Lead, you will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service while also overseeing and motivating a team of sales associates. If you have previous sales experience, strong leadership skills, and a love for all things footwear, we want to hear from you!

  1. Drive Sales: The Sales Lead will be responsible for driving sales by setting sales goals, developing sales strategies, and monitoring sales performance.
  2. Provide Exceptional Customer Service: The Sales Lead will ensure that every customer receives exceptional service by training and coaching sales associates on customer service techniques and resolving any customer issues or complaints.
  3. Lead and Motivate a Team: The Sales Lead will oversee a team of sales associates and will be responsible for motivating and inspiring them to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  4. Train and Develop Sales Associates: The Sales Lead will be responsible for training new sales associates and providing ongoing training and development for the team to improve their sales skills and product knowledge.
  5. Monitor Inventory and Merchandising: The Sales Lead will work closely with the store manager to ensure that the store is properly stocked and merchandised to attract and retain customers.
  6. Collaborate with Management: The Sales Lead will work closely with the store manager and other members of management to develop strategies for increasing sales and improving store operations.
  7. Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: The Sales Lead will stay up-to-date with current trends in the sneaker industry and use this knowledge to suggest ways to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
  8. Maintain Store Standards: The Sales Lead will ensure that the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times to create a positive shopping experience for customers.
  9. Handle Cash and Transactions: The Sales Lead will be responsible for handling cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  10. Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures: The Sales Lead will follow all company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Sales Experience: A Sales Lead At Foot Locker Should Have A Strong Background In Sales, Preferably In A Retail Environment. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Lead And Motivate A Team Of Sales Associates.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: A Sales Lead Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Customers, Team Members, And Management. This Includes Being Able To Listen Actively, Articulate Ideas Clearly, And Provide Feedback In A Constructive Manner.

  • Product Knowledge: As A Sales Lead, It Is Important To Have A Thorough Understanding Of Foot Locker's Products And Services. This Will Allow Them To Assist Customers And Provide Recommendations Based On Their Needs, As Well As Train And Educate Other Team Members.

  • Leadership Skills: A Sales Lead Should Have Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage And Guide A Team Of Sales Associates. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Clear Instructions, And Lead By Example.

  • Customer Service Orientation: Foot Locker Places A Strong Emphasis On Providing Exceptional Customer Service. A Sales Lead Should Have A Customer-Centric Mindset And Be Able To Handle Challenging Situations With Ease, While Ensuring Customer Satisfaction.
