- Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the stock room and sales floor.
- Receive and process incoming shipments of merchandise, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Unpack, tag, and label merchandise according to company guidelines.
- Stock and replenish merchandise on the sales floor in a timely manner.
- Utilize inventory management systems to track and monitor stock levels.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies or out-of-stock items to management.
- Collaborate with sales team to ensure merchandise is displayed in an appealing and organized manner.
- Assist with customer service duties, including locating merchandise for customers and processing returns.
- Communicate effectively with management and team members to ensure efficient stock operations.
- Adhere to company safety and security protocols while handling merchandise.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of current and upcoming products to assist customers with inquiries.
- Participate in store meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate a positive and helpful attitude towards customers and team members at all times.
- Keep up-to-date on sales and promotions to effectively assist customers in making purchasing decisions.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and be proactive in identifying and resolving any stock issues.
Knowledge Of Foot Locker Products: A Stock Associate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Products Sold At Foot Locker, Including Different Brands, Styles, And Sizes. This Knowledge Will Help Them Accurately Stock And Organize Merchandise On The Sales Floor.
Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Items: Stock Associates Are Responsible For Receiving And Unpacking Merchandise Deliveries, Which Can Involve Heavy Lifting And Carrying. They Should Be Physically Capable Of Handling These Tasks And Following Proper Safety Protocols.
Organizational Skills: A Stock Associate Must Be Able To Keep Track Of Inventory Levels And Ensure That Products Are Stocked In Their Designated Locations. This Requires Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail.
Teamwork And Communication: Stock Associates Often Work Together With Other Store Employees, Such As Sales Associates And Managers. The Ability To Communicate Effectively And Work Well In A Team Is Essential For A Smooth And Efficient Operation.
Time Management: In A Busy Retail Environment, Stock Associates Must Be Able To Work Efficiently And Prioritize Tasks To Meet Deadlines. They Should Be Able To Manage Their Time Effectively To Ensure That Merchandise Is Restocked In A Timely Manner.
