Cardiology Technician

We are looking for a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented individual who is eager to provide our patients with the highest level of care.The Cardiology Technician is responsible for performing a variety of duties related to patient care and cardiac testing. These duties include assisting physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions, performing EKGs, administering stress tests, and performing Holter and event monitoring. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong clinical background in cardiology and excellent interpersonal skills. They are able to work independently and as part of a team in order to provide the best possible care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions.
2. Perform EKGs, stress tests, Holter and event monitoring.
3. Document patient care information in medical records.
4. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
5. Educate patients and their family members about cardiac conditions and treatments.
6. Administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
7. Monitor patient vitals and report any changes to the physician.
8. Communicate with the healthcare team to ensure the best patient care.
9. Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and is regularly maintained.
10. Demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
