EMT Paramedic

At Franciscan Health, we are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Paramedic to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing emergency medical treatment and transport for critical and non-critical patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent patient care and show a high level of professionalism. They must possess current EMT-Paramedic certification from the National Registry, a valid state driver's license, and a current CPR certification. Responsibilities of an EMT-Paramedic:

1. Provide emergency medical treatment to critically and non-critically ill or injured patients.
2. Perform assessments to determine patient condition.
3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical protocols.
4. Assist in the transfer of patients to and from emergency medical vehicles.
5. Record patient data, such as vital signs, treatment provided, and condition of patient.
6. Maintain professional communication with patients, their families, and other medical personnel.
7. Follow medical protocols and safety procedures.
8. Monitor and update patient condition and progress.
9. Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
10. Adhere to all laws and regulations governing the practice of an EMT-Paramedic.
