
Nurse Practitioner - Pulmonary Critical Care

The ideal candidate will have experience in the field of Pulmonary Critical Care, be an effective communicator and leader, and have a dedication to clinical excellence. The NP-Pulmonary Critical Care role is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to provide comprehensive care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be someone with a willingness to learn and a commitment to providing quality, compassionate care.Qualifications:• Master’s degree in Nursing or Nursing Science • Current Advanced Practice Provider (APP) license in the state of Indiana • Current certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (ANCC) • At least two years of experience in the field of Pulmonary Critical Care • Knowledge of evidence-based practice and best practices • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work in a team environment with multidisciplinary providers
Responsibilities of a Nurse Practitioner-Pulmonary Critical Care:
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Develop and implement evidence-based practice and best practices.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with multidisciplinary providers.
- Utilize excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain current Advanced Practice Provider (APP) license in the state of Indiana.
- Maintain current certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
- Evaluate patient histories, perform physical exams, and order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures.
- Diagnose and treat medical conditions as appropriate.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and families.
- Participate in research activities and clinical trials.
Current Licensure As A Nurse Practitioner In The State Of Indiana
Board Certification From The American Nurses Credentialing Center (Ancc) Or The American Association Of Nurse Practitioners (Aanp) In Pulmonary/Critical Care
Two Or More Years Of Experience As A Nurse Practitioner In Pulmonary/Critical Care
