Are you an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a passion for helping people? Franciscan Health is looking for an advanced practice provider to join our Pulmonary Critical Care team. We are seeking an individual with strong clinical experience and a commitment to providing high-quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in the field of Pulmonary Critical Care, be an effective communicator and leader, and have a dedication to clinical excellence. The NP-Pulmonary Critical Care role is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to provide comprehensive care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be someone with a willingness to learn and a commitment to providing quality, compassionate care.Qualifications:• Master’s degree in Nursing or Nursing Science • Current Advanced Practice Provider (APP) license in the state of Indiana • Current certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (ANCC) • At least two years of experience in the field of Pulmonary Critical Care • Knowledge of evidence-based practice and best practices • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work in a team environment with multidisciplinary providers

Responsibilities of a Nurse Practitioner-Pulmonary Critical Care:

  1. Provide comprehensive care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Develop and implement evidence-based practice and best practices.
  3. Communicate effectively and collaborate with multidisciplinary providers.
  4. Utilize excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Maintain current Advanced Practice Provider (APP) license in the state of Indiana.
  6. Maintain current certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
  7. Evaluate patient histories, perform physical exams, and order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures.
  8. Diagnose and treat medical conditions as appropriate.
  9. Provide education and counseling to patients and families.
  10. Participate in research activities and clinical trials.
