Senior Machine Learning Scientist
Geico Auto Insurance is searching for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Machine Learning Scientist to join our innovative team. As a Senior Machine Learning Scientist, you will have the opportunity to use your expertise to help shape Geico's machine learning initiatives and strategies. We are looking for an individual who is creative and passionate about advancing our data science capabilities.The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of machine learning algorithms, experience in both research and engineering, and the ability to design and implement complex systems. We require a minimum of a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field with at least five years of experience in software development and machine learning. You should also have proven experience developing and training machine learning models, along with a solid understanding of machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, and Keras. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically to generate solutions are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement complex machine learning systems.
- Develop and train machine learning models using frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, and Keras.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and patterns.
- Utilize problem-solving skills and creative thinking to generate solutions to complex machine learning problems.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain machine learning algorithms and software.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of machine learning models.
- Research and stay up-to-date on the latest machine learning technologies and trends.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
