Principal Process Engineer, Cell Therapy

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Principal Process Engineer, Cell Therapy to join our cutting-edge team at Genentech. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership for the design and implementation of upstream, downstream and formulation operations for processes related to cell therapy. You will be a key contributor to the development of processes for manufacturing of cell therapy products, as well as identification of process improvement opportunities.To be successful as a Principal Process Engineer, Cell Therapy, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field, such as chemical engineering, bioprocess engineering, or biochemical engineering. An advanced degree such as an MS or PhD is preferred. Additionally, you must have at least 7 years of relevant experience in process development, process engineering, and/or process optimization.You must have a passion for problem solving, a drive for excellence, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You must also be able to work independently, as well as in a team environment, and be a self-starter who can take initiative and think outside of the box.
