  1. Oversee the management of clinical systems and data for research and development programs at Genentech.
  2. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of clinical data by implementing and maintaining data management processes.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, to ensure efficient and effective use of clinical systems.
  4. Identify areas for improvement in clinical systems and processes and implement solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  5. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in clinical systems and data management to drive advancements in healthcare.
  6. Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of clinical data for regulatory submissions.
  7. Lead and mentor a team of clinical system specialists to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of clinical data.
  8. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for clinical systems and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  9. Participate in the evaluation and selection of new clinical systems and technologies to support Genentech's research and development programs.
  10. Communicate updates and changes related to clinical systems to relevant stakeholders and provide training and support as needed.
  11. Act as a subject matter expert for clinical systems and data management, providing guidance and support to cross-functional teams.
  12. Monitor and manage the budget and resources allocated for clinical systems and data management.
  13. Continuously assess and improve processes and systems to maintain data quality and integrity.
  14. Contribute to the development and implementation of company-wide initiatives related to clinical systems and data management.
  15. Represent Genentech at industry conferences and events to stay informed on the latest advancements in clinical systems and data management.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Computer Science Or Related Field: A Senior Clinical System Manager At Genentech Should Possess A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field. This Qualification Ensures The Individual Has A Strong Foundation In System Architecture, Programming, And Data Management.

  • Extensive Experience In Clinical Systems Management: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Clinical Systems Management, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing And Managing Complex Clinical Systems. This Experience Should Encompass Both Technical And Project Management Skills.

  • Expertise In Regulatory Compliance: Genentech Is A Highly Regulated Organization, And Its Clinical Systems Must Comply With Strict Regulatory Requirements From Agencies Such As The Fda. A Senior Clinical System Manager Must Have A Deep Understanding Of These Regulations And Be Able To Ensure That All Systems Are Compliant.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Senior-Level Position, The Clinical System Manager Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing A Team Of Professionals. Therefore, The Individual Must Possess Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.

  • Knowledge Of Clinical Trial Processes: A Senior Clinical System Manager Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Clinical Trial Process, Including Study Design, Data Collection, And Analysis.
