- Lead and drive the development of innovative therapies from early discovery through clinical trials, ensuring the successful translation of promising scientific findings into effective treatments for patients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research, clinical, and regulatory colleagues, to develop and execute the translational medicine strategy for assigned projects.
- Utilize your deep understanding of translational medicine and drug development to identify and evaluate novel therapeutic targets and biomarkers.
- Provide scientific expertise and leadership in the design and execution of pre-clinical and clinical studies, with a focus on understanding disease mechanisms and predicting patient response to potential therapies.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets, including genomic, proteomic, and clinical data, to guide decision-making and identify potential risks and opportunities for further exploration.
- Communicate and present scientific findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, collaborators, and potential partners.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional growth and development.
- Stay current with scientific advancements and industry trends in translational medicine and drug development, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centricity and ethical principles in all aspects of your work.
- Serve as a key representative for the company in scientific conferences, publications, and other external engagements, building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders and academic partners.
Advanced Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field (E.g. Phd, Md) With A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Translational Medicine Or Drug Development.
Proven Track Record Of Successful Drug Development Programs, Including Demonstrated Experience In Identifying And Validating Biomarkers, Designing And Implementing Clinical Studies, And Interpreting Data In Support Of Drug Candidates.
Strong Understanding Of Translational Medicine Principles And Ability To Apply Them To Diverse Therapeutic Areas.
Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Lead A Team Of Scientists.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Experience With Regulatory Interactions, Including Ind And Nda Submissions.
