- Develop and implement additive manufacturing solutions for projects within General Atomics' manufacturing industry.
- Utilize strong engineering background to analyze and troubleshoot complex technical problems related to additive manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project needs and develop innovative solutions.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on advancements in additive manufacturing technology to continuously improve processes and techniques.
- Design and execute experiments and tests to validate new additive manufacturing methods and materials.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure timely and successful completion of additive manufacturing projects.
- Train and mentor team members on additive manufacturing processes and techniques.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to source new materials and technologies.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all additive manufacturing processes.
- Communicate and present technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide customized additive manufacturing solutions.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity in additive manufacturing processes.
- Participate in industry conferences and events to stay informed on industry trends and advancements.
- Keep accurate records and documentation of all additive manufacturing activities.

Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Additive Manufacturing, Preferably In A Research And Development Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Cad/Cam Software And Experience With 3D Printing Technologies, Such As Fdm, Sls, And Sla.
Knowledge Of Materials Science And Experience With A Variety Of Materials Used In Additive Manufacturing, Such As Metals, Plastics, And Composites.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Optimize Additive Manufacturing Processes.
