Facilities / Indirect Buyer

General Atomics is seeking an experienced, committed, and motivated Facilities / Indirect Buyer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of purchasing and supply chain tasks, including research, selection, and negotiation of purchase agreements for indirect materials and services. The Facilities / Indirect Buyer must be able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, and must possess strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience. A minimum of two years’ experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in a manufacturing environment, is also required. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of purchasing systems, purchasing regulations, supplier management, and contract management. In addition, the successful applicant must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
