Supplier Quality Engineer

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the highest level of quality in our supply chain.
- Conduct thorough assessments and audits of potential and current suppliers to ensure their capabilities meet our standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to establish and implement quality standards and requirements for suppliers.
- Proactively identify any potential quality issues and work with suppliers to address and resolve them.
- Monitor and track supplier performance, including conducting regular quality reviews and providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement corrective action plans when quality issues arise.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices to continuously improve our supplier quality processes.
- Communicate and collaborate with internal teams to ensure supplier quality requirements are clearly understood and followed.
- Participate in supplier selection and qualification processes, providing input and recommendations based on quality expertise.
- Develop and maintain supplier quality documentation, including procedures, specifications, and reports.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field, Such As Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Supplier Quality Engineering Role, Preferably In The Aerospace Or Defense Industry.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Quality Management Systems, Such As Iso 9001 And As9100.
Familiarity With Various Manufacturing Processes, Including Machining, Welding, Casting, And Composites.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Quality Issues In A Timely And Effective Manner.
