Job Description

  1. Develop and implement user-friendly and intuitive interface designs for healthcare technology products.
  2. Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and marketers to ensure usability and user experience goals are met.
  4. Utilize industry best practices and standards to continuously improve and optimize product usability.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies to enhance user experience.
  6. Create wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to effectively communicate design ideas.
  7. Conduct usability testing to identify and address any usability issues.
  8. Take ownership of the usability engineering process and drive continuous improvement.
  9. Communicate and present design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders.
  10. Document design decisions and maintain design guidelines and standards.
  11. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure consistency in usability across all products.
  12. Mentor and guide junior usability engineers to ensure high-quality design deliverables.
  13. Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
  14. Analyze user data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to enhance user experience.
  15. Continuously monitor and evaluate product usability and make recommendations for enhancements.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Architecture Or Related Field: A Strong Foundation In Architectural Principles And Design Is Essential For An Architect, Usability Engineering Role At Ge Healthcare. A Bachelor's Degree In Architecture Or A Related Field Will Demonstrate A Candidate's Knowledge And Understanding Of Building Design And Construction.

  • Experience In Usability Engineering: A Strong Understanding Of Usability Principles And Methodologies Is Crucial For An Architect, Usability Engineering Position At Ge Healthcare. Candidates Should Have Experience In Conducting Usability Testing And Incorporating Usability Feedback Into Design Solutions.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Industry: Ge Healthcare Is A Leading Provider Of Healthcare Solutions, So A Strong Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry Is Highly Desirable For This Role. Candidates Should Have Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations, Standards, And Best Practices To Ensure The Usability Of Healthcare Products.

  • Proficiency In Cad Software: As An Architect, Usability Engineering, Candidates Will Be Responsible For Creating Design Solutions And Prototypes Using Cad Software. Proficiency In Software Such As Autocad, Revit, Or Sketchup Is Critical For This Role.
