Job Description

We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Field Service Representative to join the team at General Electric (GE). This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about customer service and has a knack for problem-solving.The right candidate must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum 3 years of experience working in a customer service role. Experience working in the construction industry is a plus. You’ll need to be able to travel up to 25% of the time to perform site visits and attend conferences.Ideally, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work both independently and in a team setting. You should also be organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide excellent customer service to clients on-site or over the phone
  2. Handle inquiries from clients in a timely and professional manner
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues
  4. Ensure customer satisfaction by responding to inquiries and complaints
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers
  6. Travel up to 25% of the time to visit sites and attend conferences
  7. Update customer records in the database
  8. Provide feedback to management on customer needs and suggestions
  9. Maintain knowledge of the construction industry
  10. Work independently and in a team setting to achieve goals
