Job Description

As an Internal Audit Manager at General Electric, you will have the opportunity to develop and oversee the company’s internal audit process. We are looking for a highly motivated professional with a passion for developing and maintaining an effective internal audit system. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years experience in internal auditing, an advanced degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and certifications such as a CPA, CFE, CIA, or similar. You should also have a strong understanding of risk-based audit tools, internal control systems, and data analytics.We are excited to welcome a highly qualified and motivated individual who is passionate about helping our organization maintain a strong internal audit process.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and oversee the company’s internal audit process.
  2. Communicate effectively with staff members, stakeholders, and other departments.
  3. Utilize risk-based audit tools to identify areas of improvement.
  4. Ensure internal control systems are up to date and compliant with regulations.
  5. Analyze data to identify trends and potential discrepancies.
  6. Provide leadership and guidance to internal auditors and staff.
  7. Develop strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the audit process.
  8. Assist in the preparation of audit reports and other documents.
  9. Monitor the progress of audit activities and provide feedback.
  10. Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulations.
