
Lead Accountant - Pension Accounting
Provide accounting support for GE’s affiliate pension plans, including preparation of journal entries, preparing and reviewing account reconciliations and quarterly and yearly reporting. Prepare yearly financial statements and workpapers for each of the retirement plans; provide information and test work support to our external auditor during the annual plan audits. Prepare account reconciliations and understand processes for all pension-related receivables. Drive any outstanding issues to resolution. Develop process improvements that will streamline tasks and increase capacity. Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of established parameters.
