  1. Lead the design and development of innovative and user-friendly medical devices and systems in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  2. Conduct user research and identify user needs, preferences, and pain points to inform product design.
  3. Apply human factors engineering principles and methodologies to ensure the safety, effectiveness, and usability of our products.
  4. Develop and execute usability testing plans, protocols, and reports to evaluate and validate product designs.
  5. Analyze and interpret usability test results and provide recommendations for product improvements.
  6. Collaborate with product development teams to translate user needs into design requirements and specifications.
  7. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines related to human factors and usability.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in human factors and usability engineering.
  9. Mentor and guide junior human factors engineers to ensure high-quality work and professional growth.
  10. Represent the Human Factors team in cross-functional meetings and present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  11. Proactively identify and address potential usability issues and risks throughout the product development process.
  12. Collaborate with marketing and customer support teams to ensure a user-centered approach in product messaging and training materials.
  13. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the human factors and usability processes within the organization.
  14. Uphold the company's commitment to patient safety and quality by adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
  15. Maintain accurate documentation of all human factors and usability activities in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Human Factors Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Human Factors/Usability Engineering, Preferably In The Medical Device Or Healthcare Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Fda Regulations And Industry Standards Related To Human Factors Engineering And Usability.

  • Proven Experience Leading And Managing Human Factors/Usability Engineering Projects, Including User Research, Design, And Validation Activities.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Human Factors Concepts To Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
