We at General Electric are looking for an experienced Research Engineer to join our Combustion team! This position requires a unique blend of technical skills, engineering knowledge, and creativity. The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical problem solving skills, an aptitude for research, and an advanced degree in engineering or a related field.The successful candidate will have a passion for combustion engineering, as well as a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze complex combustion engineering problems and develop innovative solutions.
  2. Utilize technical skills and engineering knowledge to design and develop new and improved combustion systems.
  3. Collaborate with other engineers and technical staff to ensure successful implementation of combustion systems.
  4. Monitor and test new and existing combustion systems for optimal performance.
  5. Analyze and interpret data from combustion experiments to identify areas for improvement.
  6. Maintain and update records and reports related to combustion research and development.
  7. Keep up to date on the latest developments in combustion engineering.
  8. Provide technical support and consultation to other departments within the organization.
  9. Prepare and present reports and presentations related to combustion research and development.
  10. Attend industry conferences and seminars to stay abreast of advances in the field.
