  1. Monitor security systems and applications for potential security threats.
  2. Analyze security alerts and determine appropriate response actions.
  3. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  4. Implement and maintain security controls and protocols.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience In Network Security: A Security Operations Technician At General Electric Should Have A Strong Background In Network Security, Including Knowledge Of Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, And Network Vulnerability Assessments.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Security, Such As Iso 27001, Pci Dss, And Gdpr.

  • Familiarity With Security Tools And Technologies: Proficiency With Security Tools And Technologies Such As Siem, Endpoint Protection, And Identity And Access Management Systems Is Essential For This Role.
