  1. Lead and manage the additive materials engineering team to ensure successful development and implementation of new materials for additive manufacturing processes.
  2. Develop and implement strategies for the continuous improvement of additive materials, including identifying new materials and optimizing existing ones.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of materials development with overall product development.
  4. Drive research and development efforts to discover and evaluate new materials and their potential applications for additive manufacturing.
  5. Lead and manage the execution of materials testing and evaluation programs to ensure quality and reliability of materials.
  6. Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  7. Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team to drive continuous improvement and advancement of additive materials.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in additive materials to ensure GE remains at the forefront of the field.
  9. Oversee budget and resource allocation for the materials engineering team.
  10. Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support for their professional growth and development.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Additive Manufacturing With A Focus On Materials Development.

  • Strong Technical Knowledge Of Metal And Polymer Materials Used In Additive Manufacturing Processes.

  • Experience In Leading And Managing A Team Of Engineers And Researchers.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Develop And Implement Innovative Solutions For Complex Additive Manufacturing Challenges.
