Battery RESS Engineering Lead
Analyze and implement product or machinery designs for the best method for manufacturing processes. Propose and evaluate the processes for equipment in assigned area. Direct the design, development, and/or improvement of manufacturing processes for assigned areas. Provide technical support for specific plant operations. Interaction on a regular basis with design, product, and manufacturing engineering staffs. Provide direction to engineering support group and vendors. Evaluate or monitor expenditures for processes and/or equipment. Handle engineering projects with plants and/or Manufacturing Engineering Staffs. The RESS Engineering Lead will hold a wide range of responsibilities. The Lead will be predominantly responsible for equipment related to the manufacturing process.
Minimum 5 years working in a manufacturing environment
Experience dealing with complex manufacturing problems
Experience with GM engineering systems
Master’s degree in engineering a plus
