- Develop and implement a comprehensive DEI partnerships strategy that aligns with General Motors' goals and values
- Identify and establish partnerships with organizations and individuals that support diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing partners to ensure continued collaboration and mutual success
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, diversity and inclusion teams, and business leaders, to develop and implement DEI initiatives and programs
- Serve as a subject matter expert on DEI partnerships, keeping up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
- Lead the planning and execution of events and programs related to DEI partnerships, such as conferences, workshops, and seminars
- Monitor and track progress and impact of DEI partnerships, providing regular updates and reports to leadership
- Develop and manage budgets for DEI partnerships initiatives and programs
- Act as a liaison between General Motors and partner organizations, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals and objectives
- Mentor and coach team members on DEI partnerships strategies and best practices
- Stay informed of relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and ensure compliance within partnerships and programs.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Human Resources, Diversity And Inclusion, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion Program Management, Preferably In A Corporate Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Dei Principles And Best Practices, Including Knowledge Of Relevant Laws And Regulations.
Demonstrated Experience In Successfully Developing And Managing Partnerships And Collaborations With External Organizations And Diverse Stakeholders.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Engage And Influence Diverse Groups And Individuals At All Levels Of The Organization.
