Industrial Engineer
The selected candidate will be responsible for I.E. execution of various EV and AV related product launches @ Brownstown Battery Assembly Plant. This includes coordinating of installation, debug, runoff, and PPAP of equipment to manufacture Lithium Ion Batteries. Work is performed in a team environment, consisting of daily interactions with product engineering, plant engineering, controls, maintenance, operations, and a multitude of others, to successfully launch this new product. Program labor updating and tracking using the Global Benchmark Calculator. Optimization of Labor Balance. Optimization of overall plant material flow, workplace design, and material presentation.
Experience in working with OEMs [Program Management / OEM Timing / Open Issues]
5+ Years Automotive Engineering Experience [Plant and/or Execution]
Experience with Time Cycle Diagrams and Man / Machine Charts
Understanding of Theory of Constraints [Goldratt / The Goal]
Effective Time Management
