  1. Develop and implement quality assurance strategies to ensure the highest level of quality for General Motors vehicles.
  2. Lead a team of quality assurance professionals and provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's success.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality standards and processes for all stages of vehicle production.
  4. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address any quality issues or potential risks.
  5. Develop and maintain quality assurance documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, and reports.
  6. Utilize statistical analysis and data to identify trends and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  7. Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure their products meet GM's quality standards.
  8. Communicate with production teams to ensure quality standards are being met and address any concerns or issues.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to quality assurance.
  10. Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding the status of quality assurance efforts.
  11. Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising product quality.
  12. Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization.
  13. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure quality is built into the design and development of new vehicles.
  14. Train and mentor team members on quality assurance processes and procedures.
  15. Represent General Motors in meetings with regulatory bodies and customers regarding quality assurance matters.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Related Field, With A Focus On Quality Assurance.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Quality Assurance Role, Preferably In The Automotive Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Quality Management Systems, Such As Iso 9001 And Iatf 16949.

  • Experience Leading A Team Of Quality Assurance Professionals.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With A Focus On Continuous Improvement.
