Job Description

At Georgia-Pacific, we are looking for a talented and motivated Manager, HR Business Partner to join our dynamic Human Resources team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape and influence HR practices in our organization while providing a high level of expertise and service to our internal customers.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of progressive HR experience in an organization of similar size and scope, with a focus on building collaborative relationships and providing world-class customer service. A bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is required. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to effectively navigate a complex and matrixed organization. A strong customer service focus, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment are essential for success in this position.This role will be an integral part of the HR team, providing a comprehensive range of HR services to the business units, including but not limited to, talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and training and development. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the development and delivery of HR programs and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide a comprehensive range of HR services to business units, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and training and development.
  2. Develop and deliver HR programs and initiatives that align with overall business strategy.
  3. Build collaborative relationships and provide world-class customer service to internal customers.
  4. Provide expertise and guidance to managers and staff in areas related to employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  5. Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  6. Act as a resource for the management and staff in interpreting policies and procedures.
  7. Develop and execute training programs for managers and staff.
  8. Assist in the recruitment and hiring process.
  9. Assist in the development and implementation of compensation programs.
  10. Maintain HR records and files in accordance with applicable regulations.
