Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced, motivated, and creative Paper Engineer to join our team at Georgia-Pacific. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing production of paper products. To be successful in this role, you should have extensive knowledge of paper engineering, excellent mathematical skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. If you’re a passionate, detail-oriented professional looking for a new challenge, we’d love to hear from you!Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field• 5+ years of experience in paper engineering• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Strong problem-solving and communication skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop paper products that meet customer specifications

• Monitor production of paper products to ensure quality and accuracy

• Analyze customer requirements and develop solutions to meet their needs

• Use mathematical and analytical skills to identify and resolve paper engineering issues

• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new technologies related to paper engineering

• Collaborate with other teams to ensure paper products meet customer requirements

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as they arise

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors

• Prepare and present reports to management on the status of paper engineering projects

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
