Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Scientist to join our Downstream Process Development team at GlaxoSmithKline. This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate, innovative and results-oriented team dedicated to improving the development of downstream processes for biopharmaceuticals.The successful candidate must possess a PhD in a relevant scientific discipline, with significant experience in biopharmaceutical process development. They must have demonstrated experience in purification processes, analytical methods development and validation, and technology transfer. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and possess strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Responsibilities: • Develop and validate downstream processes for biopharmaceuticals • Design, execute, analyze and report complex experiments • Support technology transfer projects to ensure successful implementation of new processes • Develop and validate analytical methods for process and product monitoring • Interact regularly with other process development and manufacturing groups • Provide technical expertise to other cross-functional teams • Ensure compliance with cGMP and other regulatory requirements • Stay current with scientific literature and emerging technologies • Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders • Contribute to the development of intellectual property
