Job Description

The Associate Business Systems Analyst role at H-E-B is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in technology. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about technology and is comfortable working with business partners to identify, document, and analyze business processes. The successful candidate will have a combination of technical and business skills, a detail-oriented approach and excellent communication skills.The ideal candidate for this role should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or related field. In addition, we are looking for someone who has experience with SQL, database design, reporting, and documentation. Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills are essential, as well as experience working with stakeholders in both IT and business. Experience in retail or grocery will be a plus.

Responsibilites:

  1. Analyze business processes in order to identify opportunities for improvement.
  2. Work with stakeholders in both IT and business to develop solutions that meet their needs.
  3. Design and develop data models and databases to support business processes.
  4. Develop SQL queries to support reporting and analytics.
  5. Develop and maintain detailed technical and business process documentation.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with business systems.
  7. Provide training and support to business users of systems.
  8. Perform system maintenance and upgrades.
  9. Monitor system performance and suggest improvements.
  10. Develop and document test plans and processes.
