Responsibilities:

1. Source, research, and purchase quality products for H-E-B retail stores.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and reliable product supply.
3. Monitor market trends and changes in the industry to determine the most appropriate product selection.
4. Negotiate contracts with vendors and ensure they adhere to all H-E-B policies.
5. Analyze sales data to determine buying needs and adjust product selection accordingly.
6. Monitor stock levels in all retail stores and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
7. Manage and maintain accurate records of all purchase orders, invoices, receipts, and other related documents.
8. Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to stay informed of new product launches and industry developments.
9. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability of the product range.
10. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, and maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
