As a Maintenance Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of our stores, facilities, and equipment.   1. Conduct routine maintenance checks and repairs on store equipment, facilities, and other systems to ensure optimal functioning and safety.
  2. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  3. Perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimize potential equipment failures and downtime.
  4. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
  5. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding maintenance needs and updates.
  6. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance tasks and minimize disruptions to store operations.
  8. Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment and place orders as needed.
  9. Stay informed about new technologies and methods in maintenance and implement them as appropriate.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
  11. Provide excellent customer service to store employees and customers while performing maintenance tasks.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures and maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: Most Maintenance Representative Positions Require A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Ged. This Ensures That Candidates Have A Basic Level Of Education And Are Capable Of Understanding And Following Instructions.

  • Previous Maintenance Experience: H-E-B Typically Requires Candidates To Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Maintenance Experience, Preferably In A Retail Or Grocery Store Setting. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Common Maintenance Tasks Such As Plumbing, Electrical, And Carpentry Work.

  • Physical Ability: This Job Can Be Physically Demanding, Requiring Candidates To Stand, Walk, Lift, And Bend For Extended Periods Of Time. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform The Physical Requirements Of The Job.

  • Attention To Detail: Maintenance Representatives Are Responsible For Ensuring The Safety And Functionality Of Store Equipment And Facilities. This Requires A Strong Attention To Detail To Spot Potential Issues And Address Them Before They Become Bigger Problems.
