- Greet and welcome customers to H-E-B in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and product selection.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all perishable products and their location within the store.
- Ensure that all perishable products are stocked, rotated, and displayed in a visually appealing manner.
- Monitor and maintain the freshness and quality of all perishable products.
- Assist customers with special orders and requests for perishable products.
- Educate customers about the different types of perishable products and their uses.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of our customers.
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Knowledge Of Perishable Food Items: A Qualified Perishables Representative At H-E-B Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Perishable Food Items Such As Produce, Dairy, And Meat Products. This Includes Knowledge Of Storage, Handling, And Expiration Dates.
Customer Service Skills: As A Perishables Representative, You Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis. It Is Important To Have Strong Customer Service Skills And The Ability To Provide Helpful And Friendly Assistance To Customers.
Attention To Detail: Accuracy Is Crucial When Handling Perishable Items. A Qualified Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify Any Potential Issues With Product Quality Or Expiration Dates.
Physical Stamina: This Position May Require Standing For Long Periods Of Time And Lifting Heavy Items, Such As Crates Of Produce Or Cases Of Meat. Physical Stamina And The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment Are Important Qualifications For This Role.
