As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of new store construction projects, utilizing your expertise to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.   1. Develop and maintain detailed construction estimates for new store and sitework projects, utilizing industry best practices and company standard processes.
  2. Collaborate with the design and development teams to review project plans and specifications and provide accurate cost estimates.
  3. Conduct thorough analysis of project scope and identify potential cost savings or value engineering opportunities.
  4. Monitor market trends and changes in construction costs to ensure competitive pricing for projects.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive and accurate pricing.
  6. Prepare and present project cost estimates, including breakdown of labor, materials, and equipment costs.
  7. Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery of estimates.
  8. Review and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  9. Assist in negotiating contracts and pricing with subcontractors and suppliers.
  10. Participate in pre-construction meetings and site visits to identify potential challenges and provide solutions.
  11. Keep detailed records and documentation of all estimates and correspondence.
  12. Mentor and train junior estimators to ensure consistency and accuracy in estimating practices.
  13. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in construction estimating technology.
  14. Adhere to company safety protocols and ensure all estimates comply with building codes and regulations.
  15. Contribute to the overall success of new store construction projects by providing accurate and competitive estimates.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Construction Estimation: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience As A Construction Estimator, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Estimating New Store Construction And Sitework Projects.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: A Senior Construction Estimator Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Accurately Estimate Project Costs, Interpret Blueprints, And Identify Potential Cost-Saving Measures.
