Job Description

At H-E-B, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Systems Analyst - Finance/Accounting to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing financial systems to support business objectives and maximize efficiency. We are looking for an individual who is motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in either Accounting or Finance and at least three years of experience in a related role. Strong knowledge of financial systems, SQL, and data analytics is also essential. Additionally, you should have a passion for problem-solving and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and optimize financial systems to support business objectives and maximize efficiency.
  2. Monitor and develop reports to track the performance of systems.
  3. Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions.
  4. Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards for decision-making purposes.
  5. Develop and implement process improvements to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
  6. Create documentation and user manuals for financial systems.
  7. Troubleshoot any issues with financial systems.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  9. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure accurate financial information is available.
