Job Description

Hawaiian Telcom is looking for a Dispatch Support Manager to join our team and help ensure customer service excellence. This individual will be responsible for managing the daily activities of a team of dispatchers and providing support to customers, technicians, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have the ability to work with minimal guidance. If you have a passion for customer service and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!The required qualifications for the Dispatch Support Manager role include: a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role; a Bachelor's degree in a related field; excellent problem solving and customer service skills; strong organizational and time management skills; and the ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities of the Dispatch Support Manager:

  1. Oversee the daily activities of the dispatch team and ensure customer service excellence.
  2. Provide support to customers, technicians, and other stakeholders.
  3. Maintain excellent communication with all parties.
  4. Organize and prioritize tasks for the dispatch team.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the dispatch team.
  6. Take action to resolve customer complaints and inquiries.
  7. Ensure all relevant policies and procedures are followed.
  8. Work with minimal guidance and take initiative to improve processes.
  9. Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service.
  10. Prepare and submit reports to relevant stakeholders.
