We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cardiac Cath Lab Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our physicians and healthcare team to assist in performing cardiac catheterization procedures and providing the highest quality patient care.   1. Perform cardiac catheterization procedures under the direction of physicians and healthcare team.
  2. Assist in preparing patients for procedures, including explaining the process and answering any questions.
  3. Operate and maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning for accurate results.
  4. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the physician.
  5. Administer medications and IV fluids as directed.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, patient information, and equipment maintenance.
  7. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
  8. Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care.
  9. Stay up-to-date on advancements and changes in cardiac catheterization techniques and equipment.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
  11. Assist in training new technicians and students.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  13. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  14. Uphold the mission, values, and standards of Henry Ford Health System.
  15. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for process improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Rcis) Certification Or Equivalent

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Cardiac Cath Lab Setting

  • Proficiency In Operating And Troubleshooting Various Cardiac Cath Lab Equipment And Technology

  • Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Hemodynamics

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, High-Pressure Environment And Respond To Emergency Situations Effectively
