Laboratory Driver - Lab Outreach

- Safely transport laboratory specimens between facilities and external clients.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Maintain accurate records of all specimen pick-ups and deliveries.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of specimens to designated locations.
- Keep company vehicle clean and properly maintained.
- Follow established protocols for handling and transporting specimens.
- Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and external clients.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information and laboratory results.
- Report any issues or concerns regarding specimen transportation to supervisor.
- Attend trainings and meetings as required to stay up-to-date on protocols and procedures.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

Valid Driver's License: A Laboratory Driver Must Possess A Valid Driver's License And Have A Clean Driving Record To Safely Operate Company Vehicles And Transport Specimens To Various Locations.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: Candidates For This Position Should Have A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. Additional Education Or Training In The Medical Field May Be Preferred.
Experience In Laboratory Operations: Previous Experience Working In A Laboratory Setting Or Handling Lab Specimens Is Preferred. This Will Ensure A Familiarity With Handling And Transporting Sensitive Materials.
Excellent Communication Skills: Laboratory Drivers Must Have Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Laboratory Staff, Healthcare Professionals, And Patients. This Includes The Ability To Follow Written And Verbal Instructions Accurately.
Attention To Detail: As A Laboratory Driver, Attention To Detail Is Crucial In Ensuring The Accuracy And Integrity Of The Specimens Being Transported. This Includes Following Proper Procedures For Labeling, Packaging, And Handling Specimens To Prevent Errors.
