Medical Assistant - Jackson Occupational Health

Welcome to Henry Ford Health System! We are excited to be recruiting for a Medical Assistant for our Jackson Occupational Health team. We are looking for a compassionate and patient-focused Medical Assistant who is comfortable with a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to providing excellent healthcare services and a keen interest in occupational health.To be successful in this role, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have completed a formal medical assistant training program, and have earned certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). You will also need to have a minimum of two years of clinical experience in a medical office.We are looking for a Medical Assistant who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work with a wide range of patients. You should be able to handle all types of administrative tasks and have a strong understanding of medical terminology and medical office procedures.
