Job Qualifications

  • Board Certification In Orthopedic Surgery: This Is A Critical Qualification For An Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon At Henry Ford Health System, As It Ensures That The Surgeon Has Completed Rigorous Training And Passed A Comprehensive Exam In The Field Of Orthopedics.

  • Fellowship In Sports Medicine: In Addition To Being Board Certified In Orthopedic Surgery, Candidates Should Also Have Completed A Fellowship In Sports Medicine. This Specialized Training Provides Surgeons With Advanced Skills And Knowledge In The Treatment And Prevention Of Sports-Related Injuries.

  • Experience In Surgical Procedures: Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeons At Henry Ford Health System Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Performing Surgical Procedures, Such As Arthroscopic Surgeries, Joint Replacements, And Fracture Repairs.

  • Expertise In Non-Surgical Treatments: In Addition To Surgical Skills, Candidates Should Also Have Expertise In Non-Surgical Treatments For Sports Injuries, Such As Physical Therapy, Injections, And Regenerative Medicine. This Allows For A Comprehensive And Individualized Treatment Approach For Patients.
