Perfusion Assistant

The successful candidate will have a unique and specialized set of qualifications and experience to ensure the safe and effective operation of extracorporeal circulation machines for cardiopulmonary bypass. They will also be responsible for maintaining equipment and supplies, performing quality control tests and providing support to Perfusionists. The ideal candidate should possess an Associate's Degree in a relevant field, as well as prior experience in a hospital setting or in clinical perfusion. They should also have a thorough working knowledge of cardiopulmonary bypass and related equipment. They must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work with a variety of staff and adhere to all safety and infection control standards.
