Job Description

We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of highly trained healthcare professionals to provide specialized care for newborns and infants in need of critical medical attention. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a passion for working with newborns and their families, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality of care.   1. Provide specialized care for newborns and infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
  2. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
  3. Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, medications, and treatments.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  5. Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  7. Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
  8. Maintain a safe and clean working environment for patients and staff.
  9. Follow all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  11. Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  12. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and overall quality of care.
  13. Continuously evaluate and make recommendations for improving the NICU unit and patient care processes.
  14. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
  15. Demonstrate a compassionate and caring attitude towards patients and their families at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.

  • Valid And Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Michigan.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Nicu) Setting.

  • Bls And Nrp Certifications.

  • Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills.
