- Oversee the daily operations of the Access Center team, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services to patients.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of social workers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to facilitate their professional growth.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams within the organization to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of care and compliance with regulations.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Access Center team and identify areas for improvement.
- Act as a liaison between the Access Center team and other departments, advocating for the needs of patients and promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Provide direct social work services to patients as needed, including assessment, counseling, and resource referrals.
- Stay updated on current social work practices and trends, and ensure that the Access Center team is trained and equipped to provide the best possible care to patients.
- Handle any escalated issues or conflicts within the team or with patients, addressing them promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided by the Access Center team.
- Collaborate with community organizations and resources to expand and enhance services available to patients.
- Participate in meetings and committees to contribute to the overall goals and objectives of the organization.

- Adhere to ethical and professional standards, ensuring confidentiality and respect for patients and colleagues.

Master's Degree In Social Work: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Social Work From An Accredited University Is Required For This Position. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Understanding Of Social Work Principles And Practices.
Licensure: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid State License As A Licensed Master Social Worker (Lmsw) Or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw). This Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Met The Necessary Requirements For Clinical Practice And Has A Solid Understanding Of Ethical And Legal Standards In Social Work.
Supervisory Experience: Previous Experience In A Supervisory Role In A Social Work Setting Is Preferred. This Includes Experience In Managing A Team, Providing Clinical Supervision, And Overseeing Program Operations. Supervisory Experience Will Show That The Candidate Has The Necessary Skills To Effectively Lead And Manage A Team Of Social Workers.
Knowledge Of Mental Health And Substance Abuse Treatment: The Social Work Supervisor Access Center Will Oversee A Team That Works With Individuals Who May Be Struggling With Mental Health And Substance Abuse Issues. Therefore, A Strong Understanding Of Mental Health And Substance Abuse Treatment Is Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Have Experience In Providing Treatment And Support For Individuals With These Issues.
Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Supervisor, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Team Members, Other Departments, And External Agencies.
