Job Description

Look no further, Henry Ford Health System is seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist - Employee Services to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support and enhance the overall employee experience by providing expert guidance, handling employee inquiries and concerns, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.   1. Provide exceptional customer service to employees by promptly responding to inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  2. Serve as the main point of contact for all employee relations issues, including but not limited to, performance management, workplace conflict, and disciplinary actions.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to improve the overall employee experience and foster a positive work environment.
  4. Stay up-to-date on all HR policies and procedures and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  5. Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and concerns, and provide timely and appropriate resolution.
  6. Collaborate with HR team members to identify trends and areas for improvement in employee relations.
  7. Proactively identify potential employee relations issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation related to employee relations matters.
  9. Assist in the development and delivery of training programs related to employee relations and HR policies.
  10. Act as a liaison between employees and management to ensure effective communication and understanding.
  11. Represent the organization in a professional manner and uphold our values and mission.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the employee experience and contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  14. Perform other HR-related duties and projects as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Employee Services Or Human Resources, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Employment Laws And Regulations, Including Fmla, Ada, And Eeoc.

  • Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Employees At All Levels Of The Organization.

  • Experience Managing And Implementing Employee Programs And Initiatives, Such As Onboarding, Benefits Administration, And Employee Engagement.
